After being initially attracted by the shadows on trees that she saw on the grass, she set about studying a method that did not convey the selected object in a two-dimensional form on canvas. More like the image has been transformed to its own reproduction with the canvas taking its interpretation from the artist. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects or objects that can be perishable like fruits and people. Alexa Meade's painting style, that is extremely ephemeral its nature, can be seen. The only piece of her art to survive is the photograph. Photography and painting techniques closely synchronized, which results in a two-dimensional, flat area that is trompe l'oeil. The only areas of the photo such as the hair, or eyes, show the three-dimensional dimension. Meade is also able to integrate her model paintings into the space of 3D that surrounds the models. The interaction between them and this created world is possible. The distinctions between performance installation, photography and painting is thus broken.
