KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer who became famous after she took home American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson was raised at Burleson, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth, where her voice talent was first recognized by her teacher in the choir at her school at the age of a seventh-grade student. Following graduation, Clarkson was transferred to Los Angeles, where she was unsuccessful in her attempt to enter the show business. When she returned to Texas her name was announced as a contestant on the first season of The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing contest that let viewers decide which singer they liked best. Fans were amazed by Clarkson's captivating personality, voice, and humour. Clarkson took home $1 million and also a contract recording deal in partnership with RCA to be her reward.
